During the reconstruction of Brasa Bridge Square, a modern, safe and well-maintained public outdoor space will be created in an area of more than 15,000 m². The works include the construction of existing and new pedestrian sidewalks, the creation of a cycle path along Brasa Bridge, the installation of lighting for the area and sports field, as well as the installation of a video surveillance system.
The square will feature diverse rest and recreation areas, with benches, chess and picnic tables, waste bins and bicycle stands installed. Improvements to children’s playgrounds and the installation of rubber surfacing that meets safety requirements are also planned.
Special attention in the project is being paid to greening – decorative plantings will be arranged over an area of approximately 800 m² and 41 trees will be planted. As a result of the reconstruction, the Brasa neighbourhood will gain a well-organised, green and sustainable public outdoor space for visitors of different ages.
