As part of the redevelopment of Brasas Bridge Square, a modern, safe and well-equipped public outdoor space will be created across an area of more than 15,000 m². The works include the construction and renovation of pedestrian paths, the development of a cycle path along Brasas Bridge, the installation of lighting throughout the area and sports court, as well as a video surveillance system.
The square will feature a variety of leisure and recreation areas, with benches, chess and picnic tables, waste bins and bicycle stands. The children’s playgrounds will also be improved, and safety-compliant rubber surfacing will be installed.
Special attention has been given to landscaping. Decorative planting areas covering approximately 800 m² will be created, and 41 trees will be planted. Following the redevelopment, the Brasa neighbourhood will gain an attractive, green and sustainable public outdoor space suitable for visitors of all ages.
