Design & Build Design

As part of the project, Pillar Contractor developed the construction design documentation, provided author supervision, and carried out energy efficiency improvements and engineering network upgrades in the historic building of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet. The works included the modernisation of electrical installations, heating, ventilation, cooling, water supply and sewage systems, as well as roof insulation. At the same time, structural elements and historic interior features were restored, including wall and ceiling finishes, wallpaper and floor tiling, while lighting fixtures appropriate to the building’s historic character were installed.
